2006- Sandakan Death March: Photographer on assignment for
Outpost Magazine.The expedition retraced the Sandakan Death March, a 250 km route through the jungle where 2500 Australian and British POW’s died in 1945 during forced marches by the Japanese. The expedition was undertaken in Malaysian Borneo with 9 members of the Australian armed forces in full uniform.

2004- Across Asgaard: Expedition leader/videographer/writer for 26-day, 800 km canoe expedition that started on the Norwegian Coast, 200 km above the Arctic Circle. Paddling and portaging on through Sweden and Finland, we retraced a millennium-old Viking/Sami trade route.

2004-Source of the Motoco: Videographer during a 17-day exploration of the Motoco valley in the Andes of northern Patagonia, Argentina with a group of eccentric local explorers.

2003- Nam Pha Expedition: Videographer on a tiger-tracking expedition during the 2nd descent down the Nam Pha River, a remote grade III-V white water river in Northern Laos. Two first-contacts with indigenous tribes en route.

2002- Mekong Rapids/Kong Lo Cave Expedition: Photographer/writer covering a team of Russian white water kayakers as they attempted numerous first descents of the notorious Mekong rapids at the
Cambodia/Laos border. Our team also paddled the Nam Hinboun River through 7 km-long Kong Lo cave in central Laos that flows in one side of a mountain and exits out the other.

2001- Nam Ha Expedition
Photography/writing. Was a member of the first commercial expedition to travel down the Nam Ha River in north-western Laos where we made the first outside contact with indigenous people in a remote jungle village.

2001- Chasing the Dragon
20 days; co-expedition leader/photographer/writer. Cycled 1000 km across Java while ascending six 10,000 foot volcanoes along the way. Eventually forced to stop by Islamic fundamentalist threats in wake of WTC disaster.

2000- Phuket, Paddles, and Pirates:
 3 months; expedition leader/photographer/writer. Sea-kayaked 300 km down the west coast of Thailand; last foreigners to white water kayak the Selangor River in Malaysia before it was dammed. Marooned ourselves in a remote corner of Java after destroying our kayak in 6 meter surf.
